Pandora streaming issues with iPhone 6

I'm having issues streaming Pandora web radio from my iPhone 6 through my car's audio system. It's sounding muddy & and there are peaks in the volume. I'm using an OEM cable too! I never had any problems with this on my iPhone 5.

Anybody else having similar issues with Pandora? If so, what is the fix?

Are you using the AUX jack and cable on your car, or the USB connection?
I've read somewhere else on these forums that's an issue with the new iphones using the USB instead of the AUX port.
Depends on the vehicle.

USB port in my car into phone. Why would these new gen iPhones be any different than my 5 was?
