Hi,

When I heard there was a jailbreak for iOS9 i was very excited... i waited a bit before i tried it in case there were any warnings from the community about issues, but did not see any so i went ahead with it. I did the jailbreak, but there was no cydia icon, after looking online it seemed people just restored and tried the jailbreak again and it worked for them. so i tried restoring and got an error saying it couldn't be restored. So i put it in DFU mode and tried again, but am getting the same error. Phone cannot be restore an unknown error occured (1).

This is the first time i bricked a phone. Question is if i bring it into apple, can they see that it has been jailbroken or would the phone have already been wiped? The progress bar gets to about half before i get the error.

Thanks!

you might wanna try restoring it again instead of concluding it is bricked.. try a different computer..

From my search online, error 1 is hardware related

Did water ever get into your iPhone?

Since your 6S Plus is still under warranty, go to the Apple Store. They'll replace it if they can't restore your phone when in DFU mode

It is possible that there was some sort of hardware damage/failure to your iphone (seems to be related to the modem chip or firmware), which you would not have known about unless you restored the device

thanks. the first computer i tried was a PC the second i tried was a macbook. ill try another PC maybe with windows 7 on it, although not sure if that will matter, then ill take it to apple.
