Hi all,

Did the pangu jailbreak on ipad 2, 7.1.1 after if finished it didn't install cydia. I am use to the JB process, been doing it for years. This JB worked fine on my iPhone 5.

It won't let me rejailbreak again it detects it as a jailbroken device already. Is there any way to install cydia from the internet?

I'd like to resolve this without restoring the ipad.

Thanks!

Nope. I had exactly the same several times with pangu. I just ignored the 'already jailbroken' warning and ran it again.

It took sever attempts before it actually installed cydia.

It won't let me try to jailbreak again. It says device already jailbroken

That's completely bizarre. When this happened to me with pangu I just re-ran it until it eventually installed Cydia

See if you can access Cydia by opening safari. Type:

Cydia://

If it opens Cydia, try re-installing Cydia substrate and Cydia installer.

I tried this idea, it said "packages unloading" or something along those lines, it then restarted my ipad. No luck though, still no Cydia....Is there any other way to install it on my jailbroken ipad without Pangu since that wont run again for me?

I will try again tonight, but as I stated earlier when I did try to repeat the JB process, Pangu told me my Ipad was already jailbroken and it wouldnt run its setup.

So I can access cydia through safari by typing cydia://. But there is still no icon on my ipad for it. How the f do I fix this odd issue??
