I'm trying to jailbreak my iPhone 6 plus running 8.1 with Pangu on my Mac mini. I keep getting the "Unable to get jailbreak resources, please check your network" error message. The only fixes I've found doing a Google search recommends using another device for the Internet connection, which I've done using my iPad Air, but that does not work either.

Do any of you guys have any ideas?

I've tried it both on my Mac and my old ass Windows machine. I also made sure to turn off Find My iPhone, set auto-lock to never, turned off the passcode lock, and put it in airplane mode. I don't know what else to try.

Is the computer you're using to jb connected to the Internet? i think it needs to be

I got nothing on the error but do you have itunes running in the background during jailbreak process? It failed my first couple attempts until i read these directions:

http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-jailbreak-ios-8.1-untethered-using-pangu8/

Thanks for the info. I hadn't read anything saying to have iTunes running. Also, I didn't see anything before saying you had to download a clean version of iOS 8.1 through iTunes instead of updating OTA. I'm going to try that and see if it works.

So I ended up downloading the TaiG jailbreak on my old POS Windows machine, updated my iPad to 8.1.2 through iTunes and ran the jailbreak. It failed the first time but worked perfectly the second time. So I updated my iP6+ and it worked the first time out. I now have CarPlay Ignition running on my iPhone and will download a few other tweaks as well. Thanks for all the help.
