Panic Kernel Log

Have iMac 2009 with OS 10.8.3 sustained a panic kernel. Recommendation included finding the Panic Kernel LOG to determine cause. Problem is I cannot locate exactly where the file is.
Apple states the file is /library/logs/DiagnosticReports but this is for Mac OS X v10.6. Cannot seen to find V10.8.3. Any advise
