I am thinking of getting Panther, but want to know if the new version of Apple's DVD player software has hardware de-interlacing. I have a powerbook G4 550 with the Radeon 7000M. On the PC the Radeon 7000M supports hardware de-interlacing but Apple has never used it with its DVD player. I am hoping they have changed this in Panther.
