Panther and Web-Sharing

Hey everyone,

I do some work in PHP and like to work on files locally before uploading them to my webhost. I usually stick files in my Sites folder, turn on web sharing, open Safari, go to http://127.0.0.1/~username and check things out. It worked flawlessly in Jaguar, but I'm having problems with Panther

Personal Web sharing is on, but when I direct my browser to 127.0.0.1, Safari can't connect. Ditto with my-computer.local.

Any ideas?
