I am trying to upgrade my wife's imac to Panther and the instal says I need a firmware update. The instaler directes me to a url at apple's support site but I can not find an firmware update. Can anyone point me to the correct URL?

10.0 and 10.1 was such a poor OS in terms of functionality, but in ideal they were great.

I disagree. They were great, wonderful even, until 10.2 and blasted them in terms of everything. (UI, speed, etc) Well, 10.0 maybe not. 10.1 was good.

Glad you are smart and obviously did some research about installing the firmware prior to even putting in the OS X cd. Good luck with it!
