Now if the installer asks you what language when you start the install/upgrade of Panther, why does disk 2 take so long, and it installs all those other language support files anyway? I was just wondering... Disk 2 has taken longer than disk 1.

You do have the option of installing the languages you want or not installing all the languages.

Choose customize during the installation routine.

i have the preinstalled 10.2.7 that i hate because it has ALL THE LANGUAGES that i dont use and even classic that i dont use.

i ordered the update version.

i want to do the clean install, with only 10.3. will the update allow me to do that? or i'll just own the licence, and get a full copy of somewhere else? i hate the "archive and install", especially when i don't want to have the stuff on my current system. id be happy with english/italian only, with half od the default programs and no classic. but i NEVER want to install the archive and install. aw.
