Panther on a 400Mhz G3 iMac?

sorry if this has been posted already, but would i be able to run panther on my iMac at 400Mhz? this might be answered easier by a person who has an early build of panther, but if you don't and do know the minimum requirements, thanks so much.

i think it will work.
dunno the speed thought. qe will certainly not be aviable, and as panther seems to be fasted, even if it got more features, than jaguar, and jaguar works well on all the 400 mhz imacs i know, ( 3 ) , i think it will just work perfectly well...

i saw a speed improvment from 10.0 to 10.1 to 10.2, so i hope that 10.3 is the same.

Yeah panther will work with all G3's and G4's exept the beige series. I don't know about speed but I think Steve Jobs said that there would be a speed increase. I think I've heard that you will need more HD space and more memory.

I remember reading somewhere that Panther will be snappier than Jaguar, even on older G3's.

Pics off the internet. It said in the requirments screen "G3 (Blue & White), so I assumed that the beige didn't work. Plus I've heard it somewhere else...

i've now succesfully run panather and i have to say it is a definte improvement, except for speed on my iMac. i hope that itwillb get faster for the retail version.
