Hello,
I have three externals. Two are NTFS one Mac format. Before installing Paragon everyhitn was normal. Mac saw all three. I could access the NTFS drives just not write to them. I installed Paragon -- moved some files, read some horror stories (data corrutTiOn/) and decided I need something different. I uninstalled it. Now one of the NTFS externals is gone. If I plug it into a PC it is read. The Mac cannot find it though.

One note: I had two "My Book" icons before Paragon. Paragon renamed one to "My Book1." This is the one that is missing.

In the Windows OS in the bootcamp on the Mac both drives are visable and I can access them.

Two note: I can verify - most of the files I moved with Paragon are corrunpted! They are avi. With thumbnails selected for viewing option, I can see a thumb if it is not corrupted - otherwise I see teh avi logo and it will not load up.

Any ideas?

TY very much for all the help here getting started.

Odisey.

EDIT: I Installed MacFUSE and NTFS3g. ALL drives have returned. I am transfering files now - it is about 2/3 slower than Paragon. I moved a 22gb file with Paragon in about 20 minutes. It is taking 34 minutes to move a 13G files using NTFS3g. Hopefully with no cORupTiOn/

Speed cannot account for corUpTioN?
