Parallax Returns

Anyone else notice that on the Home Screen, the background parallax - a design element secretly killed off in iOS 18 - is back again, albeit very subtly?

I’m curious of people’s thoughts on that. I personally love the whimsy of a slight parallax: it’s one of those things that are functionally unnecessary, but just adds an extra bit of fun & unique personality into my OS experience. How do people feel about these windrow dressing flourishes added in – or in this case back in – to our iOS experience? Thoughts?

It's actually been broken for years at this point. But as you say, it's a welcome feature even if it doesn't add anything functional to the user experience.

Home Screen parallax effect is essentially broken if you use your iPhone normally.
