HI there,

I already have my Windows and Mac partition. Now I want to install Parallel Desktop to that if I want to quickly use a software in windows, I don't reboot.

How can I do that? I cannot find the options to do that when I launch the PD. It only allows me to create a new virtual OS.

Thats what I want! But the option of "Import Boot Camp" is not available!

When you first start up parallels it gives you 3 options, choose "use virtual machine" or whatever it is, I think its the 3rd option. It will then search and find your partition.

Hi there,

Thank you all for the replies.

I tried that too. I chose the virtual option, but it cannot find any partitions! I opened my Boot Camp from Mac, and it does not detect any windows partition, and my windows partition does not show up in the Finder either!! (I can still go to my Windows by restarting the Mac and booting into it directly).

Whats wrong?

Thanks
Kousha

Okay, so i went to Disk Utility, and I see the Windows Partition (its MS-DOS Fat format), but it is not mounted. I try to mount it, but nothing happens... Help?!

Thanks :)
