Hey guys,

I have a 15inch base 2013 rMBP with parallel mainly for excel use. I use excel intensively for my work and there is no way around it. I am annoyed with how poorly excel on parallel runs on the macbook. I think the performance has to do with scaling. I was hoping if anyone have insight regarding this.

Or, if anyone has other suggestion on running windows excel on Mac with large data sets, please let me know. If there is no way around it, I guess I need to go back to windows.

Thanks!

Bootcamp might be a better option, as you get native performance and the full amount of ram to utilize. Another alternative is to dedicate more cores and ram to the VM. I doubt it is a scaling issue if you are running the current version of parallels and OSX 10.9.
