It depends if you want any of the other apps, because that's their normal upgrade price except all the other stuff is effectively bundled for free.

I am still happily using Parallels 9 on Yosemite. Till they "break" it, I won't upgrade, with or without bundled treats.

Not really interested in the others programs to be honest so have decided to give it a miss.

Yup me to but on Mavericks and not interested in the bundled programs so will give this a miss until as you say they break it.

There is a free alternative called VirtualBox. Have you used it? Been working rather well for me.

Listen to this guy! Parallels 10 has some very big problems that were never addressed. Let me just say, scaling and resolution is a mess especially if you use OP monitors for presentations and such. 9 was performing just fine then I found $50.00 laying on the ground an upgraded to 10, it has never worked right and in 3 months they will be hawking 11 with 70% power savings, 50% less storage required etc etc.
