Parallels 11

Hi

I've bought an upgrade from Parallels 10 to 11
At present the imac is on Yosemite, Parallels 10 & W7

We are starting to experince slowdowns in W7 when 'snapshot' occurs.

Is it best to:

1/ backup iMac to TC & make second backup to a USB drive (with a snapshot of Parallels) and all data on W7
2/ upgrade Parallels 10 to 11 reboot.
3/ upgrade Yosemite to El Cap via app store. reboot.
4/ backup iMac



is 2/ & 3/ the correct order?

Just want to keep Parallels settings but have everything up to date. Any tips much appreciated.
