Since I have a MacBook Pro, and need to run Windows on it, I have set up Parallels with 2 virtual machines (VMs), both running Windows XP and sharing a virtual hard disk. One of the virtual machines uses only the shared disk. The other one uses both the shared disk and a second disk I created on an external drive (which will obviously be unavailable when I take the MBP with me - hence the reason why the VM with only the shared disk exists). As long as I don't try to run both virtual machines at once (which will obviously not work due to the shared drive), will I encounter any problems with this setup?
