So here's the issue. My dad finally decided to get himself a Mac. I've been helping him set it up, and that includes a few Windows apps he still uses. I set up Boot Camp for him, and then set up Parallels to use that partition as well. Everything was working fine until recently. Running XP through Parallels works just fine. However, when I try and boot the machine into XP, it hangs at the OS chooser screen, then gets halfway through booting XP, says "autochk program not found - skipping AUTOCHEK", bluescreens for a quick second, and reboots. I have no idea why it started doing this. Do any of you have any ideas? They would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Update: I just tried booting XP into safe mode. It stopped at loading Mup.sys, then gave the quick BSOD + reboot.
