Hi,
I have a Bootcamp partition running fine. I've just installed Parallels 5, and want to run it virtualized. But when I try to add BootCamp, Parallels tells me "operating system not detected". How can I fix this?
I'm running Snow Leopard / Vista via Bootcamp. Previously I was running Leopard / Vista. This worked fine both in Bootcamp and in Parallels 3. But when I upgraded to Snow Leopard, Parallels 3 was incompatible, so I needed to upgrade it too.
Also, I'd really like not to corrupt my Bootcamp partition.

Thanks!
Vanman

When you get the "operating system not detected," do you have your Vista install DVD in the drive? If not, doing so should solve the problem.

Vista regards a Mac running Vista on Boot Camp and through Parallels as being two different machines, and each Vista install disk allows only two installations, so be careful.
