Hi all.
I am looking for advice from folk who have Parallels 6 and do back-ups through Time Machine.
I started using Parallels with version 5 when my last PC died.
Backing up my data was critical and after seeing how Time Machine treated the Virtual Machine file on back-ups, I quickly excluded the VM from Time Machine back-ups and instead opted for a schedule of back-ups through iBackup.
I just noticed in the Parallels update that version 6 features an option to make the back-ups work better with Time Machine through a new 'Optimize for Time Machine' function.
Can anyone with experience detail to me how large the hourly back-ups are through Time Machine of the image? My VM is on pretty much all day due to work requirements and I would rather not have Time Machine running all day also.
My VM size is around 20gb.
Thanks for any help!
