Hi, all.
I'm having a major problem with Parallels.
I use external drives for my Data for Outlook, and for client websites, video projects, and the like. Late 2012 iMac loaded up pretty fair.
All is fine in bootcamp, drives show up and retain drive letters, etc. Drives in question are USB 3.0 drives.
In Parallels, I have to reconnect Outlook to data files, (drives now have different letters); web site home folders are not found correctly in Dreamweaver, yatta yatta. If I re-name drive letters (if I even CAN) in Parallels, then when I go back to bootcamp, I have to change them AGAIN.
This is a deal-breaker for me... does anyone know if VMWare Fusion is this squirrely?? I really can't use Parallels for my intended purpose: Transfer my adobe Master Collection to Mac and never look back! I still need a Windoze installation for Quickbooks Pro 2012; Outlook 2007, and some specialized ($$$) 3D translation software. I also may keep Lightwave 3D on the PC side, the Jury is Still Out on Lightwave...
I'd really appreciate any experience, informed opinions, etc.
Thanks!
