Ok so I had a copy of parallels installed that I bought from my local college computer store. I installed xp via bootcamp and then installed parallels and everything was running fine on my shiny new 4gb of ram i installed to have 2gigs for each OS. It was working perfectly until out of the blue parallels freaked out and now each time i try to boot xp, it just tells me that it crashed and flips back to the "pre-boot" state. I try to press the play button again and the same thing happens. So I get past the boot screen and parallels tools installs and then soon after, without warning, crashes. So then i installed vmware fusion hoping that will work. The thing doesnt even try, it immediately says that it wont boot. WTF? Has anybody had this problem and is there a solution?
