Parallels and "other" memory use.

So recently on my iMac i have started using Parallels to run windows 7, i didnt get it all right the first time and had to delete my virtual machine once or twice and create a new one.

A day or so after this i realised the free space on my HDD was low (well not low just a large sum lower) (611 of 999GB's used)

After checking my memory under, Apple > About this mac > More info > Memory

I saw Audio (18.6GB) Movies (72.54GB) Photos (9.65GB) Apps (25.82GB) and 261GB's under "other"

I suspected that is where Parallel's left its footprint and but after checking my Parelles folder i only saw one file about 60GB's how can i find what else is in this other section of memory, and is it possible that my previous virtual machines that i "deleted" are still on my HDD somewhere ?

I don't have Lion to check, but does it really say "Memory"?
Because "memory" is not the same as "hard drive capacity":

Anyway: Take a look at DiskInventory X (will not work in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion), OmniDiskSweeper, JDisk Report or GrandPerspective to see where your HDD space went to.

ah, storage is the correct term sorry.
