parallels and screen resolution?

anyone out there using parallels?

I find absolutely no option to control any aspect of the guest OS display...it's ridiculously annoying to use Parallels at 1600x1200 on a small display or some deal when I want it in a more manageable smaller size like 1280x1024.

Changing the resolution in the guest OS results in things messing up and not displaying correctly.

Grr, am I missing something right in front of me?

What version are you using? Beta 6 claims to have "Custom video resolutions support added".

beta6 now, still doesn't work, sigh. been fiddling around with xorg.conf for a while now too, and still no luck.

when did beta 6 come out?

i am using beta 5 and can change screen rez just fine... if i am in xp i just right click and cange from there, it resizes the parallels window accordingly...

beta6 came out in the past day or so.

and yeah...i don't know what it is...nothing I do in xorg.conf changes what happens, and I'm utterly unhappy at using it with the bottom 8th of a screen chopped off.
