I am going to be setting up Parallels for a friend of mine tomorrow and I could probably figure this out for myself...but another person's experience would be easier.

I'm going to install parallels on his iMac for a silly MP3 player he got. I would like to then share the music from his iMac to the Parallels' version of XP.

Is it possible? How would it be done?

Also, the MP3 player is a Samsung YP-K5...Mac drivers? Looked far and long, nothing.

Parallels can (perhaps does by default, not sure, mine does) share your Mac drive Windows running under Parallels as a network drive.

It puts a shortcut on the desktop called "Parallels Shared Folders" that contains a shared network folder that is your Mac home folder. So sharing should be easy...
