I just installed Parallels and windows 7 on my 2011 macbook air and I am impressed with the performance. However, I have noticed two issues.
1) My time machine backups are over 17 gb unless I set parallels to tell time machine not to back up the virtual machine. Is there a way to set up the backup to include the virtual machine but not make huge backups? I tried the optimize for time machine option, but experienced the same huge backups. Also If I am not backing up the virtual machine will files I make in windows still be backed up through time machine?
2) I cannot see my NAS in windows after allowing network sharing. Any ideas?
