I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I have the OS cd but its too confusing for me. Its asking me to reformat my HD to fat32.... Is there any tutorial on how to get it to work? Thanks

So does it work when you go ahead and have it format? It should start the install. Though 95 isn't even secure any more. No updates or anything. And it's a pain compared to 98.

Is there some reason you need it over XP or later?

Sorry, but why do you want Windows 95?

There are 2 games that I'm dying to play (7th guest and 11th hour). I tried to use them on XP, and even with the patches they ran rather glitchy. I just got hit hard with nostalgia, haha.

Oh well, maybe I'll buy a crappy 50 dollar PC that has 95 on it hah. Maybe the games will run on 98....is that easier to install than 95 on parallels??

I think 98 is just easier to install period. If you've got it, I'd try that instead, as I doubt there's much of anything that would run on 95 but not 98. It's not like your Mac's going to have trouble running 98 :)

Do not try to reformat your Mac's hard drive! Win95 wants to be installed on a FAT32 virtual hard drive, which is a disk image file on your Mac's hard drive. Try using the Parallels application to create the virtual drive.

I would assume 95 was trying to format a virtual drive from within Parallels.

Indeed, I was using Parallels and it was the virtual drive. I successfully got 98 running, and I'm sure that the 2 games will run as well. Thanks for everyones help!!
