If i install parallels, is it possible to shut it off when i'm using graphical and CPU intense applications like AutoCAD and just boot windows from bootcamp?

(so i can use the system's full potential)

and can i use parallels when running normal apps?

Yes to both.

Set a BC partition, install Windows on it, then install Parallels and it will see the BC instance. BTW, check out VMWare Fusion. I'm a Parallels to Fusion "switcher" and find it to be a somewhat tighter, better implemented product. Just my .02.

I should have no problems uninstalling Parallels? Installing Fusion and pointing to my BC partition?
