OWC is a great company. Go for it, you'll save $30.

Do a search for Parallels 5 for mac academic. I think it's about $40 downloaded.

Have bothered to look or ask in the Mac Applications Forum? That should be the first place you should look since it is geared towards Mac software, both Apple and third party software. The MacBook Pro, PowerBook Forum is geared more towards the hardware of the the MacBook Pros and PowerBooks.

I don't have an answer for you but thought I would point you in the right direction so you would have a better chance of finding your answer.
