First let me apologize if I have posted in the wrong section of the forum.
I have experiencing a nerve wrecking issue when trying to install windows vista 32bit on parallels desktop 7. I am currently running following specs :
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
4GB Ram
The steps I taken are below up to the point where it completely messed up :
1). I downloaded & installed the trial version of parallels desktop 7
2). I inserted my windows vista 32bit operating system disk
3). I opened parallels desktop 7 & under file clicked "new"
4). I selected the disk to install from.
5). I went though the options as normal & I used all default options ( please note this could be where I went wrong that is why I am asking for help ) I use the default selection to install windows under the default disk partition which was 64GB allocated ).
6). It extracted all the files needed, & then it restarted then just completely froze on the "completing installation..."
I have tried the "shift f10" that I googled that didn't work at all. So any thoughts suggestions and solutions are welcomed!
& thanks in advanced for taking your time to look at this & offer some help!
