Hi all I'm a new Mac user, only used windows previously
I recently purchased a imac 24 (love it so far)
installed Parallels to run win XP
All seemed fine until I had a problem installing XP updates
Decided that the problem could be Win service pack 3
Uninstalled sp3 that's when my problems started
Went through the uninstall procedure ok until a restart was commenced
XP hung at the "computer is closing down' screen.
Left it for what seemed ages then rebooted the mac
When I attempted to restart XP in Parallels this message came up
'Unable to allocate memory to Monitor PE'
now I can't get win to boot in Parallels
Any one else had this problem or was it just my stupidity???
