I have previously posted more generally:
https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=4306908#post4306908
asking for advice about whether a Macbook or a Macbook Pro is a better option for me and I've gotten some great feedback there.
However, I'm posting here in the applications forum to seek further information about users' experiences using Parallels to run the following Windows software:
SPSS (Gradpack v. 11.5)
SAS (v. 8.2)
Photoshop 7.0
OneNote 2007
I have listed the versions I own, but feedback on Parallels' utility with subsequent versions of the same software would probably also be useful.
I realize that SPSS and Photoshop Mac versions are available, but because both are fairly pricey, I'm hoping to avoid their repurchase and simply use either Parallels or Bootcamp instead (the latter I am less thrilled with as an option because of the required reboot; it may, however, be a necessary evil).
Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice
