I don't know much about Parallels but are any of the versions or betas able to run games on them? Or do they not have support for graphics intense games? Can it use both cores on my C2D MBP?

if it's not possible could i just use it for regular windows only apps that i have?

You can use Parallels for pretty much anything Windows that DOESN'T require 3D support. e.g. Games. Some older games work though (I've heard Deus Ex works) but most don't (yet). The Parallels team is working on bringing 3D support but you can't use it just yet.

But apart from that, Parallels can pretty much do anything else. Except for anything that needs USB 2.0. (e.g. iSight). I think that covers everything.

i tried parallels with my old Win 98SE, i guess parallels doesn't do it well, it takes 80min to install, unbelievable. Q is faster.
