Hello:
I am installing Parallels 4 on a new MacBook 13" 2.4 Ghz machine with 4gigs Ram and 250 Gig HD. I have pre-installed bootcamp and windows XP Pro. The Parallels install went well, it was directed to use the Bootcamp partition but when Windows began to boot the keyboard and mouse froze while a message appeared indicating that it could take up to 5 minutes for keyboard and mouse control to return but over 45 minutes have passed and I am beginning to wonder if the install has crashed. I can seen the cursor blink every so often but that's about it. Should I shut the computer down and reinstall Parallels or are there any other suggestions?
Addendum: I shut down parallels, not the computer, and restarted the parallels desktop and it seems to work properly, however, I now have two choices: "My Bootcamp and WindowsXP." The My Bootcamp choice seems to work fine but I am unable to create a wireless network connection, whereas, the wireless connection worked when using the actual Bootcamp startup.
