so i installed windows XP via parallels 7 on my new MBP. i also have windows on a mac mini via bootcamp. and my friend has windows laptop.

Me and a friend are trying to play a computer game. (company of heroes). he has his own windows laptop. the mini and the windows laptop can play together fine over my wireless network. (wifi) we can see each others games and can join and play and all that.

However on the MBP i cannot see any games from either of the other 2 computers. i think the issue is with parallels. Im pretty sure its because in the network connections of MBP there is no wireless or wifi setup or anything to view wireless networks. I'm guessing this is because the mac side is handling it, but i need it on the windows because thats how we could multiplayer. so something in settings of parallels or what?

I am far from a Mac expert but the situation you are experiencing is the reason why I am fairly certain that I will i) install Windows on a BootCamp partition and ii) install Parallels to access the BootCamp partition because this approach would give me the best of both worlds (i.e. I can have a true Windows machine when I need it).

Just a thought...
