Hey,
I am running parallels 7 and mountain lion. I've got a very old epson R1800 printer hooked up to an airport express.
The problem is that printing with mac drivers is becoming very bad, seemingly unsupported on such an old printer... we'd like to keep on using this printer as we just print out simple linework to use for tracing.
I am wondering if i can print using parallels straight to the r1800 printer on the network using windows drivers, not mac drivers (as parallels seems to create a printer that uses mac driver software). ... i am assuming that a windows 7 r1800 printer driver would be more up to date...
do you think this would work? what are my alternatives?
thanks,
r.
