parallels - .PVM - .HDD -> how to mount .HDS ?

got a crashed system with parallels and lot of data there.

obvious first steps - show package contact on: .PVM -> .HDD leaving the .HDS file as final.
can you mount it without installing parallels ?
some utility ? i did not find any with a quick search.
