Parallels: simultaneous direct access to USB Storage Devices

Does anybody know if it's possible to have the host Mac OS and the guest Windows OS see the same USB storage device simultaneously?

I can either set the host Leopard OS to see my external USB drive, or the Vista VM to see it, but can't get both seeing it simultaneously.
