I only need to use Windows for one thing and that is to manage the music that is on my Toshiba Gigabeat. The trouble is that every time I try to connect it to my MacBook (duo2 2ghz) through Parallels, I get the message:

"USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is being used by another application. Close that application or unplug the device and plug it in again. Then try to connect the device again."

The player works fine on a Boot Camp partition, but I don't want to have to keep burning my music to disc and restarting just to put it on the player. The strange thing is that the player connects and works fine through Parallels on my friend's MacBook Pro.

Any ideas?
