Hello All,

I had an issue with Windows 7 VM set up via Parallels not seeing a 2nd hard drive (in the original HDD bay, not Optibay). I added an SSD in Optibay and left the original HDD in its place and the OS X sees the HDD with no issues, but somehow Windows 7 VM cannot recognize the HDD.

Is there some changes I need to configure in Parallels VM settings to see the HDD?

This is for my wife's 2010 MBP.

Are you using a shared folder or something? By default wouldn't the VM only recognize its virtual drive?
