Can i run Parallels with vista from an external hard drive io of the internal hd. and which is btter and eiser to use bootcamp or parallels

I run Vista 64 with VMware Fusion from an external disc so Parallels should too. Boot Camp generally uses internal drive (unless you know how to fool it). Although, using a virtual machine (like Parallels or Fusion) isn't recommended with Vista because it generally requires ~2GB to run nicely.

I'm not sure, but I think Parallels will run Vista from removable hard drive. Check parallels official site. I think that they said something about external USB HDDS support. I'm sure the t Boot Camp won't.
I still prefer to run XP via Parallels, it is much faster
