I set up parental controls on my mac to prevent my little sister from accessing the internet, as she loves to click on pop-ups, and never seems to learn they aren't real... However, I've forgotten the password I set, and now can't even log on to my account. Is there a way I can recover the password or get rid of parental controls?

No, you can't override parental controls if you don't have the admin password.
Posts like this always have the possibility that the poster is the kid trying to circumvent parental controls put in place by their parents, especially being the first post in this forum. Also, most people would be more concerned about not being able to log into their own account, rather than worrying about parental controls.
