It seems that Apple left no choice but to have Instant Messaging conversations logged in the Parental Control. I don't want to monitor my kids Instant Messaging Chats and it seems that there is no way to disable this.

Anyone no a work-around?

Thanks.

Don't read the logs?

I think the parental controls are perfect, you have the option to not read the chat logs but the fact that if you need to you can is incredible useful...granted you'll need a special decoder ring to decipher what they are actually saying.
