Just wanted to follow with my recent trip to Paris.
First thing turn off cellular data on your phone.
Went into an orange store, asked for the mobicarte, it was 9E and then I also purchased a 15E add on card, I gave them my passport and they took all the info down and within 10 minutes or so I was out the door with a text/phone supported iPhone. I got the text saying everything was confirmed and welcome to orange, I assumed this means I could now add data. However! I was having problems adding the Internet Max option. Turns out reading all the other forums that you had to wait 24 hours to add data not just for your phone to work.
This was Saturday morning around 10am. Sunday morning I woke up and tried to add the Internet Max and it worked.
Internet Max was 9E for the month, they throttled me after 500MB to 256/kbps down and my up was not throttled.
I also opted for the email support because my office uses exchange if you don't add on this you will see your credit go bye bye very fast
