Parked car notification?

My parked car location will show up in the widgets for "Maps Destinations" but when I get out of the car (or whenever), it won't actually give me a notification for it. Is there something I have to do to enable the lock screen notification? Yes, I have the Maps app notifications turned on.

It's sporadic on popping up and notifying you but I've found it's consistent in marking the location just fine
