So I found a awesome piece of software today called parsec. Its software that lets you access and play games on a windows pc over the network thus eliminating the need for both systems to be on the desk. I hooked my windows rig up in the living room to the tv and when I'm in the office I only have to open parsec and connect to access my pc games thus minimizing the need to interact with windows. I can do everything in my preferred os and just use windows similar to if it was a shadow.tech cloud pc but its all local. apparently parsec can let u access ur pc while away too but iv not tried that yet but if you enjoy Mac and allo enjoy pc gaming then check it out

Looks to be yet another company offering streaming in what is now appearing to be a crowded field of streaming companies.
The difference with parsec is your not renting a pc your using your own pc either on the local network or over the internet you just install parsec on both systems and connect and game its not like shadow or other cloud services where you pay a sub fee it is using the hardware you already own

Oh I see, sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought it was yet another traditional streaming service where you pay monthly for the ability to play games via streaming on someone else's hardware

Parsec sounds very much like Steam Link, yes?

Yes but way more in depth your not just streaming steam it's the full windows desktop any game or app can be used just like your sitting in front of the computer. steam, origin, epic, emulators, anything it's the full pc experience just your pc is in another room or even location. haven't tried it off the home network though. both systems were hardwired to my modem. Iv also tested it on wifi not as good but serviceable.
