Hi all

I'm trying to protect certain areas of my Mac.

I've tried filevault but find the impact on backups unacceptable.

Can you encrypt certain special areas of your Mac e.g. email?

I've played with encrypted disk images but can't see how you could make this work on application folders that would need to be unlocked at login.

Any ideas?

Regards
