Hi! I am a student at LCC International University in Lithuania. We are doing
an educational survey to determine how the iPhone is perceived by
potential customers in the UK. If you live in the UK, we invite you to
participate:

Information gathered will be used for educational purposes only. Filling
the survey will take you up to 10 minutes. The responses are anonymous and
confidential.

We'll let everyone know when we publish the results, so you will be able
to find out what motivates people to buy iPhones and what impacts their
decision making.

We have already gotten permission from MacRumors to ask for your
participation.

It's not the type of thread we stick, since it's not a site announcement and not "necessary" reading for our members.

Still, we encourage people to fill out the survey to help educational research.

we've got 17 responses so far, keep them coming!
 
we are hoping for around 40-50 responses..
ability to generalize the results would still be somewhat problematic, because we chose internet as a mean to distribute the survey
but our results should be pretty accurate, because for this type of research internet is a good place to find the respondents :)
 
I have noticed that most of the repondents already bought an iPhone,
so, just making sure, you don't need to already have an iPhone to participate

We have 33 responses so far, as soon as we hit 40+
we can move onto data analysis :)
 
We have got 40 responses. A little more won't hurt, so keep participating for one more day, then we will move to data analysis.
