Hi all,
Just had a question about partioning an external hard drive. Is it possible to partition it for Windows (FAT32) and Mac (HFS+)? I would to be able to back up my PS3, Windows desktop and Macbook all with the same drive. If this is possible, can someone explain how? Is it done thru Disk Utility?

It is possible, as you mentioned through the utility. I'm going off memory, but there is a portioning tab, click that and then it will allow you to adjust the size and type of the partition.

so i can just plug in my ps3 and PC and it will recognize that partition on the hard drive?

can i partition a hard drive that i only have my macbook backed up on already?
