Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I were to partition my External HDD (FreeAgent Drive 500GB) would I lose what I have on there currently? I have 150GB free and I want to partition 100GB to NTFS for Windows so I can use it with my Samsung HDTV which can playback all my Videos :D

Can it be done without losing anything?

Northy

P.S. Does FAT32 have a file size limit?

No you won't unless you make the partition smaller than the files currently need, but as you have single partition, creating a new 100GB won't affect it.

FAT32's maximum file size is 4GB if I recall correctly
